One of the main challenges of this project was ensuring minimal disruption to their business operations, as the office was in full use during the week. To accommodate this, we scheduled and completed all work over the weekends, allowing their team to continue working without any interruptions.

Our team efficiently managed the project from start to finish, handling all aspects of the reconfiguration, including space planning, partition installation, and finishing touches. The result was a well-structured office layout that maximises the available space and enhances productivity.

Before
Here’s a look at the office space before we got to work. The client needed to divide this large, open-plan office into three separate offices to better accommodate their growing team. However, with the space in use during the week, the project had to be carefully planned to minimise disruption.
During
Here’s a look at the project during the build phase. We constructed the partition walls using sturdy 4x2 timber, securely fixed to the floor for a solid foundation. To ensure maximum stability, we removed the ceiling tiles and fixed the top of the partitions directly to the roof structure, providing a strong and durable framework for the new office spaces.

As the office was in use during the week, we took extra care to protect the workspace. Floor protection was installed nightly, and we ensured the area was hoovered at the end of each shift to leave no mess behind. Our goal was to deliver a high-quality transformation with minimal disruption to the client’s business operations.
Completion
The office reconfiguration is now complete, and we’ve successfully transformed this large open-plan space into three efficient and functional offices.

As part of the project, we installed four new windows to bring in more natural light, creating a bright and inviting work environment. We also sourced two fire doors that perfectly match the existing doors to maintain a consistent look and ensure safety standards were met. To enhance security, we fitted keypad door locks for controlled access to each office.

To keep the office looking seamless and unified, we sourced matching skirtings and door facings, ensuring the new partitions blend perfectly with the original design.
